I moved to Montana to work for the U.S. Forest Service the year that Yellowstone burned, 1988. By the time I went back to school in the late 90’s for Chiropractic, the Tobacco Valley was embedded in my heart. Upon graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic I chose to come back home and set up my practice in Eureka.
I chose Chiropractic because I wanted to help people and encourage them to live a more balanced life. Chiropractic is not just about neck and back pain, it is a holistic practice.
By addressing what is going on in someone’s life, diet, movement, and stresses, you address potential causes of aches and pains. Stresses can be too much or not enough of what we call the Three T’s, Thoughts, Toxins and Traumas.
You are what you do, you are what you think, you are what you eat and everything is connected.
Chiropractors focus on the nervous system as it is the most obvious energy network. Tension can interfere with the flow of energy. Removing and/or decreasing tensions and interference helps you move more optimally. Adjustments in the spine, muscles and lifestyles allow that life force to flow more freely.
Physical and mental/emotional health are entwined. Your physical state affects your mental state and vice-versa. I talk to people about healthy lifestyles and what is going on in their lives….and I listen.
